The Broncos showed their big-game experience, pulling away for a 7-1 victory to earn their third consecutive Class C championship title.
Bronxville improved to 16-3, and was scheduled to play a regional game vs. Section 9's Rondout Valley Saturday at Valhalla at 1 p.m.
"To take it this way is unbelievable," Broncos coach Jacquelyn Frawley told Daily Voice. "They blew our minds - us coaches - with the way they executed - all those opportunities, and to score so many goals in a finals game.
"It means everything to these girls," Frawley added of the win, "to the seven seniors who have been playing with us for three years... they're had championships, and they didn't want to go home with anything less."
"This is amazing... it's what we've worked so hard for all season," senior team captain Ellie Walsh said. "Now we just keep looking forward... it's just amazing.
"We've really grown together," Walsh added of the team's bonding process. "We've gotten so close this season, and it's really awesome to able to play with best friends on the field."
Hannah Weirens and Mia Bettino each scored two goals for the Broncos.
Croton closed the curtain on a strong fall at 16-3.
"Our girls played strong in the first half," Croton-Harmon coach Dorothy Perrone said. "In the second half, they (Bronxville) came out strong, and today just wasn't our day.
"But we had an incredible season, and today we're going to celebrate that," Perrone added. "We have six seniors and six juniors, a really strong team, and we hope to be back here."
